What Wire Wrapping Is

The type of wire I use to make my one of a kind pieces of art.

The wire I use is called 14 karat rolled gold, which is also known as 14/20 wire or 14/20 rolled gold wire.

This type of wire has been used for hundreds of years and is a long lasting wire.

One thing this wire IS NOT is gold plated.

The wire I use is strong and does not tarnish because of the metal composition.

The wire is made with 14 kt. gold and other metals to make it pliable enough for me to bend and twist it.

I do not solder any of my wire works.

The other wire I use is sterling silver wire.

The wire is usually .925 silver and can tarnish, so some light polishing is needed.

I also use Rose Gold, Copper and other wires in different pieces.
